Tell us a little about yourself.
Born and raised in Texas, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Computer Information Systems at the University of North Texas. Here at Velo IT Group, I get to utilize my studies while providing the best possible customer service alongside our skilled engineers. I enjoy reading, puzzling, hiking, and finding new coverbands in the area with friends and family.
How did you get started in IT?
I grew up watching my father, an electrical and mechanical engineer, build complex products designed to help others. While the process was very fascinating, it was his passion and excitement that intrigued me the most for he was and always has been one of the happiest people I've known. From a very young age, it has always stuck with me that the key to a fulfilling life is dedicating your passions to serve others.
Why did you choose to work at Velo?
I believe you are a product of your surroundings. In just a few clicks on Velo ITG's website, I knew the environment was one I would flourish in and it has only proven to be correct since I've begun my career here.
What do you consider your greatest strength?
I would consider my greatest strength to be my optimism. I rarely find myself in scenarios I can't get through because I approach any situation with an optimistic outlook. I love learning new things everyday and evolving as a whole as obstacles and challenges arise. You could say my persistent personality has to do with that, but the optimism is the instigator.
