Tell us a little about yourself.
Ever since getting my first PC at 10, I’ve been interested in technology and have had an interest in taking things apart and putting them back together. I started my IT career in 2012 in Dallas, which is where I was born and raised; Go Cowboys!! I love everything about technology and how it makes our lives easier…for the most part. When I’m not working, I enjoy working on cars, racing, playing video games, and making delicious BBQ for my friends and family.
How did you get started in IT?
Why did you choose to work at Velo?
I chose to work at Velo because I was looking for a company where I could utilize my skill set and experience and make an impact. In the past, I’ve worked for IT companies that have a global reach and I began to feel less like a person and more like a cog in a very large machine. After my interview with Taylor and Sam, I felt like I found a company in which our values were aligned and that they are genuinely invested in their employees and value their feedback.
What do you consider your greatest strength?
One of my greatest strengths is that I’m always trying to learn and do more.

“The problem is that at a lot of big companies, process becomes a substitute for thinking. You’re encouraged to behave like a little gear in a complex machine. Frankly, it allows you to keep people who aren’t that smart, who aren’t that creative.” -Elon Musk
