We sat down with Larry McCoy, Woodall Roger's VP of Finance and Administration, to discuss the role of technology in Klyde Warren Park's everyday operations. In the video, Larry explains the IT relief that Velo’s managed services have brought him, allowing him to increase daily productivity by focusing less attention on IT security and IT management.

Klyde Warren Park is an institution in downtown Dallas. Sitting atop the Woodall Rodgers Freeway, it creates an oasis of greenspace among the skyscrapers and heavily-trafficked roads of the Dallas Arts District. The park hosts food trucks, marketplaces, weekend classes, movies, and more on a regular basis.

The park also happens to be heavily dependent on information technology.

Klyde Warren Park staff members need a secure and predictable IT environment in order to keep operations running smoothly. Additionally, the technology at the park extends beyond the staff at the office to the thousands of visitors and vendors who rely on the wireless network in the park for work and recreation.

“I wear multiple hats. I’m responsible for finance, accounting, HR, legal, and IT, so being able to depend on Velo for IT protocol, security, and the like has been extremely beneficial to me and allows me to concentrate on those other areas.”
